10.01.2022 Trying front 3s? This should be a staple for any snowboarder, it's one of the most stylish tricks out there and always a good trick to do if you want a good photo. Save this post for next time you are on hill! 1. Before you attempt a front 360 frontside grab (indy) you should be comftable doing front 180s, switch back 180s and indy grabs, these are the 3 movements in this trick. 2. In run - you want to take off on your heel edge. To get into the perfect position on take off ...think of these lines as your approach the lip of the feature. 3. Take off - Snap with your hips and shoulders, look under your front shoulder (not over) bring our knees/board upto your hand a meet the board half way (don't look for the grab, feel the grab) keep looking to spot your landing. Remember to give it enough juice on the take off as you can not generate more rotation once you leave the snow (well you can a little but it won't look pretty!) 4. Once you spot your landing get ready, keep low with soft knees, catch your toes to stop your rotation. Don't stand up till you have control on the toe edge or you will wash out onto your heels/revert. If you look closely you can see Matt really jam his toes in the snow on landing to keep his board straight. ATTN: these tricks are demoed by @mattycoxox one of the worlds best. This video may not be the answer to your problem. If your having trouble head to our website, upload your attempt. we can then do a video analysis session and work on what your doing wrong. 09.01.2022 Now that’s how you lock in a front lip! @duckduckguuss picture perfect \ @wazzeh

07.01.2022 Fear can stop us reaching our full potential! On the Readiness camp along with our other guest speakers our skipper @ryantiene will be doing a session on fear. He will be sharing some ways he overcame it and give our campers some tools to deal it. #thereadinesscamp

05.01.2022 It’s been a while since we dropped a trick tip! Here is one for all you lucky Northern Hemisphere riders! The Backside board slide. 1. Before you attempt this trick we suggest you can do a Backside 50-50 ... 2. Approach the rail with the rail on your back side. Approach with a speed your comfortable with. Pop just enough that you don’t land with force (think about gliding on to the rail) 3. Land with soft knees. I also like the idea of landing on the rail with your back foot lower then front, this gives you the chance to pull your back leg up and to lock in. If you land your board flat momentum will drag you over the rail, and you will come off short. Also it’s really important to get your board 90 degrees this will allow you to lock in best. 4. Keep your eyes up looking at the end of the rail. Once you are locked in it’s time to enjoy the ride. 5. Landing - I see in a lot of beginners the panic of getting the board back straight for landing. Do your best to try and hold the Boardslide off the end of the rail. Once you ride off the rail let your legs and shoulders re align, land with soft knees and slight toe pressure. These tricks are performed by professional athletes @mattycoxox - there may be issues that are stopping you from being able to do these tricks. If you wanted to get a more personal touch head to our website and book an online lesson. We will be doing our best to upload new tips daily so let us know what you want next

05.01.2022 @alexchumpypullin had it figured out!

02.01.2022 With all the good news about boarders and the low rate of Covid infections nationally, we are feeling very confident that VIC campers will be able to attend the Readiness Camp. We will now be taking reservations from VIC campers with a money back plan in the case of another boarder closure closer to the camp start date.

01.01.2022 Forever in our hearts, Happy birthday @alexchumpypullin

01.01.2022 Having trouble with your Ollie's? Save this post! 1. First try this without moving, taking the element of movement away will simplify this move. Once mastered add movement. 2. You will want to load up your legs, I would say 60 front 40 back. ... 3. From here I want you to pull your front leg up and drive your back leg down to create flex into the tail of your snowboard. 4. Once you have reached the height you wish to Ollie with your front leg, pick your back leg up to bring your board parallel with the ground. 5. Land with slight toe pressure and soft knees. ATTN: these tricks are demoed by @mattycoxox one of the worlds best. This video may not be the answer to your ollie! If your having trouble head to our website and upload your ollie where we can do a video analysis session and work on what your doing wrong.

01.01.2022 Covid has us jumping through hoops! Just when you thought 2020 was behind us we take another blow! With the border closure of the VIC/NSW border we are moving the Readiness camp dates to April 6th -11th ( Easter school holidays). We want to thank all the parents and kids that had signed up for the camp and for the 90% of you that are still coming on our new dates! We also want you to know that we are here to chat anytime about all things snow to try keep you motivated! Wit...h the date change comes an opportunity for us at TAB to double down and make the Readiness camp even better! But we need your help, Please help share the news of the date change and see if any friends or family would be interested in the new dates of the camp. I have taken the last few days to reflect myself and try the 3 pillars we will be applying on the camp. - Hardship -The threat of the camp being canceled all together and letting down the kids, parents, staff and my family. - Highlight -Speaking with all of the kids and parents and the overwhelming positivity to the change. - Lesson learnt-There is always a solution, there is always a way and when we are all dealt with the same cards (in this case Covid) we are all pillars to one an other.
