13.01.2022 The NSW State Emergency Service (NSW SES) has launched a new social media campaign to urge residents in flood risk areas to prepare themselves for flood events. During an unprecedented super storm, which struck the NSW east coast in April 2015, Peter Manuel and his son Michael narrowly escaped drowning while moving cattle to higher ground. Peter has shared his story in the hope that other farmers will realise the importance of planning ahead when severe weather warnings are issued.
