24.01.2022 Update 10.11pm All is still very under control here. We are outside the emergency warning area. If u r concerned please call or message. 24.01.2022 Not new but certainly updated... Our cattery! All houses twice the size and all still include inbuilt heated elements. Lower level enclosures have little seats and upper level enclosures have hammocks. New corner suite now available for multiple cats. Fully heated in cooler months and air conditioned in warmer months.

24.01.2022 Sad day at Tackens Farm today. Our beautiful 15 year old girl ‘Scooter’ passed over the rainbow bridge. Thankyou to all our lovely clients who always gave her a pat and had time for a cuddle with her when visiting us. Longford Vet......speedy......THANKYOU RIP sweet girl....

22.01.2022 It’s going to be hot! All small animals will be in airconditioning All dogs will be monitored throughout the day as usual with iced water and fans and lots of quiet time. Our girls are happy to be less of 12 months of growth! Thanks Sarah and co for an awesome job! Happy alpacas are great to have!!

10.01.2022 UPDATE 6PM - THE STOLEN HELICOPTER TRAILER HAS NOW BEEN FOUND ***PLEASE SHARE*** Stolen helicopter trailer with firefighting equipment Our firebombing helicopte...r support trailer (Registration Vic Z83084L) has been stolen from the Caltex in Longwarry on East bound Princess Hwy. The trailer contains critical equipment for our firefighting helicopters without these parts the helicopter providing critical services to the communities of East Gippsland will soon be grounded. It was stolen sometime between midnight on the 23rd January and late morning on the 24th. 06.01.2022 After a long 6 weeks of waiting for flights to relocate to Emerald to be reunited with their owners Murray and Gayle, Ted (Sun Conure Parrot), Lucy (Jack Russell Terrier) and Butler (Cat) can now finally call Queensland home.... and boy they seem to be loving it too. We will miss you all very much but are so happy to see photos of you all being so relaxed and cuddling up together.... Enjoy the beer Ted!

05.01.2022 Hi All With regards to extreme heat and Rosedale fire, we are currently all good! Animals are all safe, all cats and chicken inside in air conditioning....all dogs great with wet runs and iced water.. we are outside the watch and act area, should anything change we will update out page. 03.01.2022 Done! Just in time for Easter. The before and after pics. We have completed the upgrade of our large dog accommodation. Our aim was to create a safe and comfortable environment for our larger dog breeds during their stay with us. Boasting increased size of our exercise / run yards. All internal walls and doors replaced. Improved height and safety of the fencing and extended walkways. Heaters are being installed in each run just in time for winter. We're thrilled with how they look and function. Now to move some our larger guests into their new lodgings.

03.01.2022 Millie having a lovely time whilst she is staying with us. Had a swim, caught the stick, had a roll and even got to have a ride in the front seat whilst checking the paddocks.
