20.01.2022 CORONAVIRUS AND COVID-19 UPDATE As a result of the Prime Minister's speech on the 23rd March, and in the interest in keeping our customers safe, we will be closing our doors with immediate effect until further notice. We are so sad that we won't be able to kick start the 2020 season, especially now the sun has made an appearance, but hope that in time our doors will be open and you'll be raring to go. ... Firstly we would like to thank you all for the kind words of support over the last few months, it has been a great confidence booster to know that even through all the struggles we have all faced during this pandemic, there is still a real sense of community and optimism to salvage something positive from this season. Here at Tackt-Isle we are well under way planning our return to work and we very much hope that we will be able to get back into the swing of things and ...start providing those activities that you know and love, with of course, your health and safety in the forefront of our minds. The governments announcements so far have led us to prepare for reopening in a certain capacity from the 4th of July and we will await any further guidance between now and then to decide the correct cause of action. Official announcements of our available products and COVID controls will be posted on facebook and on the website, so please follow these pages to be kept fully up to date. 15.01.2022 We are reopening from the 6th July! We have been working tirelessly since the recent Government announcement, so that we will be able to reopen from the 6th of July but in a slightly reduced capacity. To start with we will have on offer:... - Equipment rental (Kayaks, SUPS and Canoes) - Staggered times for our daily instructor lead sessions. (Sailing, Windsurfing, Kayaking and SUPing) The timings of these sessions will be displayed on the activity calendar on the website and are designed as such to allow for adequate time for cleaning and sanitising kit, to manage arrival and departure times while maintaining social distancing as well as adequate time for our staff to carry out their duties in safe conditions. We have reviewed our products and our operating procedures especially in relation to keeping our customers and staff safe during this recovery from COVID-19. The measures we have taken are in line with the guidance from the government and our governing bodies, and we ask for your patience while we implement them and feel our way through these early stages. Here are a list of the measures we have put in place and we ask you for your full cooperation: - A new contact free booking system via phone and email (coming very soon to the website) - Online forms and symptom free self declaration - Advanced booking and payment encouraged - Contactless and card payments only - Contact free temperature check on arrival - One way system around our grounds - 2m markers for the queue to reception - Protective screen in front of our reception staff - One in one out in all our buildings including toilets - Hand wash and paper towels in each WC - Hand sanitiser available at the door - Hand sanitiser available on sessions - Adequate signage to remind visitors and staff - Changing rooms are closed so please arrive ready to go - Usual wetsuit and Buoyancy aid sanitising process - Equipment clean down between uses - Staggered session times to control arrival and departure times and to allow time for cleaning - PPE for staff Customers are encouraged to bring their own face covering and hand sanitiser

04.01.2022 Due to COVID-19 we have decided to extend all the vouchers that are due to expire in 2020 by 1 year so that no one misses out. We are all about getting you out on the water and no one deserves to miss out due to the issues surrounding the COVID pandemic. We are lucky we are able to open with a reduced timetable but some people aren't as lucky and have had holidays cancelled or aren't able to travel or leave the house.
