21.01.2022 Who's done a bit of bird watching at Taddy Creek? The number of different birds is amazing and at different times we have enormous birds of prey hovering above the property looking for prey. Has anyone identified which bird it is?

10.01.2022 Happy WA Day! Unfortunately many career and volunteer firefighters have been kept busy this long weekend, responding to out of control private burns that are pu...tting the community at risk. Before you conduct a private burn, there are several important things to remember. Always contact your local government first. Many Shires are still in restricted burning periods and require permits to burn. Always register your burn with our Communications Centre (COMCEN) by calling 08 9395 9209. Always check the weather conditions BEFORE lighting your burn. Find local weather on www.bom.gov.au and Fire Danger Ratings on www.emergency.wa.gov.au Your burn is your responsibility. Never leave it unattended and make sure it is fully extinguished. Call 000 immediately for escaped burns. Several volunteer Brigades have also given up their time to conduct important hazard reduction burns to key areas of high fuel loading. If you see smoke and are concerned, check www.emergency.wa.gov.au - if a smoke alert or burn isn’t listed and you suspect it may be a bushfire, call 000 to report it. 06.01.2022 The hard working rangers at Nanga have told us that no matter what the fire warnings are, some wally’s still light camp fires. Don’t be a Wally and light a fire. Respect the fire warnings issued in our beautiful state!
05.01.2022 Hey Taddy Creek Lovers, winter is the best time at Taddy Creek and with all this rain the Creek should be flowing soon. Warm the house with the pot belly stove, catch tadpoles with the kids and enjoy being amongst nature. We still have vacancies for the July school holidays so make your reservation soon
04.01.2022 We planted a pear tree a couple of years ago and just got our first fruit...4 juicy pears . Needless to say we are happy little vegemites!
03.01.2022 Book a weekend at Taddy Creek to go raspberry picking with your kids for Xmas. We make raspberry sauce every year from these juicy delights and last year they had plump apricots that we made jam with. Bloody delicious!
