24.01.2022 We have had the most wonderful experience on our Prep Excursions over the past week. We visited Mrs Fudge’s and Mrs Taylor's classrooms over two days and had the most amazing fun. We started by getting name tags and listening to what we were going to do for the day. Next we did these activities which was cutting shapes and make it, take it break it. Make it take it break it is where we use collage materials and create within a photo frame and then take a photo and return the ...items. We were also introduced to some prep students who helped Mrs Taylor. We then returned to the mat for a story and some fruit. The children then went and did some number and literacy work which was using tongs and rolling a dice and putting that number onto the insect and the literacy was tracing letters. The children all showed amazing growth as they could point out each number and the letters within their names. As a class we are going to revisit some of these activities to get organised for prep. We then went outside and did some risk taking by trying new things such as jumping onto a pole and monkey bars. the children showed great core and upper body strength as well as confidence and the ability to try new things. We can't wait see what the next term holds for us as we prep for school!

21.01.2022 Our red poppy is a symbol of both Remembrance and hope for a peaceful future. Poppies are worn as a show of support for the Armed Forces community. The poppy is a well-known and well-established symbol, one that carries a wealth of history and meaning with it. Today our Kindy and PreKindy children showed our respects through making our own Poppies as well as stopping for the minute silence.... #lestweforget2020
