18.01.2022 I encourage my clients to eat at least two serves of fish each week. This recipe calls for tinned tuna, fresh vegetables and wholemeal pasta, making it a wholesome and budget-friendly meal, suitable for the whole family.

16.01.2022 This dip contributes to both vegetable and protein serves. It makes a great snack dipped with vegetable sticks or wholemeal crackers. Make it ahead of time and keep it in in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to four days.

Research seems to suggest that tea is associated with a range of mental health benefits, but it is not clear whether it is the tea that is doing it, or the ceremony associated with making it and sitting down to enjoy it. Based on the current state of research, I'd say it's probably not a bad idea to try to make some time for yourself and a cup of tea most days .

06.01.2022 Good quality sleep is defined as sleep that you find satisfying in terms of quality, duration and timing, and which leaves you alert during the day. Adults should be aiming for 7-9 hours of sleep a night. This is important, as poor quality sleep might interfere with our efforts to lose weight, and contribute to other negative outcomes. Many of us don't get good quality sleep, so sleep is something I always ask about, especially in clients struggling to lose weight.... Interestingly, recent research finds that sleeping in on the weekend is not enough to overcome the problems associated with not sleeping enough during the week. There is a lot that can be done nutritionally to support sleep, so if you are having trouble, get in touch!
