25.01.2022 Hello Parents and Students, The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is making a huge impact on our society. Although being cautious of public places is very important, we should also take care of our health by regularly exercising throughout this epidemic. I spent last weekend bushwalking for over 6 hours and feel very energised. Hope you all can find ways to exercise and feel energised as well!... 19 . 3 . ~~~ ~~~ ^^

23.01.2022 Dear Students and Parents, Taekwondo World has been closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 situation and is pleased to announce that it will be resuming training in light of the Government easing restrictions. These classes will be optional and open to those who would like to return. On 2 June 2020, the NSW Government announced that fitness centres and gyms will be allowed to re-open from Saturday, 13 June 2020 subject to a maximum of 10 people per class and the 4 square met...re rule. As such, Taekwondo World will be re-opening our Epping Gym on Monday, 15 June 2020 to all members who choose to take classes. This includes Homebush Gym members who wish to train at Epping Gym For our Homebush Gym members, unfortunately due to these circumstances, we were forced to shut down our current gym. Before this pandemic, we purchased a facility in: B4 161 Arthur St Homebush West NSW. This location is currently in construction and is estimated to be finished by the end of October. We are very sorry to all Homebush Gym members due to these circumstances. Currently, we are trying to find temporary locations for the Homebush Gym and will give your more information regarding this very soon. - Classes will be limited to 10 people per class and filled on a first come first served basis - Classes will run during their usual times from Monday to Saturday. - Parents/caregivers will be asked to wait outside of the gyms and wait outside until the student is finished with their class If you need any more information or want to ask a question, feel free to either email us at [email protected] or call us on 0412 851 302. We wish all members and their families the very best during these difficult times and hope to see you soon. Thank you and kind regards, Taekwondo World www.tkdworld.com.au

23.01.2022 COVID-19 Temporary Closure Dear Students and Parents, Taekwondo World has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and following the advice of Government health authorities and Australian Taekwondo. ... In light of the most recent circumstances, we have made the unfortunate and difficult decision to temporarily cease all classes, effective from Monday 23 March 2020. The health and safety of our students and staff is of paramount importance, and all of our centres will be closed during this time until we are advised that it is safe to resume training as usual. All payments of Training Fees will be automatically suspended on an indefinite basis until training resumes. Any upfront payments will also be carried forward to avoid overcharging once training resumes. We kindly ask you to please direct any enquiries to [email protected] where they will be responded to as soon as possible. We will not be available to answer calls during the closure as our administration office will also be closed. We deeply appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time. Taekwondo World sends its best wishes to all students and their families, and hopes to resume classes soon. Thank you and kind regards, Grand Master BYUNG GEE YOO All our future information will be posted on our Facebook Page. We will also release free videos Members can access to keep fit and stay healthy during this lockdown. Taekwondo World Martial Arts Taekwondo World Martial Arts - Epping

19.01.2022 Hello Students and Parents, Per our most recent update from Australian Taekwondo, at this point in time the government and health agencies have not advised closure of sports, gyms, or fitness centres. Accordingly until otherwise advised, we will continue to provide Taekwondo classes at the usual days and times. However, we are very much aware of the precautions that need to be taken to ensure that we continue to provide a training environment that is, and remains as safe as p...ossible. The following precautions will therefore apply: 1. With the current risk of spreading COVID-19, anyone who is feeling unwell, has a runny nose, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, a temperature or fever will not be allowed to attend classes until they have recovered, and 2. Students who have recently travelled overseas, or have been in contact with a person who is known to be infected with COVID-19, or who is otherwise instructed to self-isolate, will not be allowed to attend classes for at least 14 days from the date of notification. This will apply even if they are not feeling sick. 3. All students must wash their hands upon arrival to the dojang. 4. In line with advice from government and health agencies, students should not shake hands. Instead, we recommend that you use appropriate Taekwondo etiquette and bow to greet each other. 5. We ask all people attending classes, students or parents, to adopt sensible hygienic practices by: a. Regularly washing your hands. b. Coughing or sneezing in a tissue or your elbow, facing away from others. Please ensure that you wash your hands afterwards, and safely dispose of any tissues. c. Avoiding close contact with people who are sick. d. Familiarising yourself with good hygiene information at the following link: https://www.health.gov.au//coronavirus-video-good-hygiene- Your instructors are actively monitoring government and health agencies announcements. In addition, Australian Taekwondo is also providing advice from their Medical Committee, the Australian Institute of Sport and the Australian Olympic Committee regarding appropriate measures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our club members and their loved ones. Any changes to our class schedule will be updated accordingly. Thank you and Kind Regards, Taekwondo World

Could you please pass this message to other members of Taekwondo World. Thank you and we hope to see you soon!!!

02.01.2022 Dear Parents, Per the requirements of NSW Government, from Monday 23rd November all students will need to check in to our centres using the appropriate QR Code.... This means there will be some changes to our check-in procedure. 1. All students MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the check-in area. Unaccompanied children will not be allowed to attend class. 2. Parents MUST scan the QR code and check in using the Service NSW App. 3. The confirmation screen MUST be shown to a staff member, who will mark each child off the roll as confirmation is shown. 4. Students MUST sanitize their hands and have their temperature checked before entering the training area. For this process to run smoothly, we ask all parents to please download the Service NSW App on a smartphone or other device prior to visiting our centre. Please note that students who are unable to check in following the procedure above WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ENTRY. After 30th November 2020, parents will be required to individually sign in each student on the app, using the QR Code displayed at our centre. Confirmation for each child must be shown to a staff member, who will mark the child off on our roll. If you have any questions regarding these procedures, please feel free to contact our team via email. We thank you for your understanding and co-operation. Kind Regards, TAEKWONDO WORLD
