25.01.2022 Hi all, Tamworth TAFE Heavy Vehicles classes are still postponed. We are working toward setting a date for everyone to come back and get stuck into their courses soon. Please keep in mind we need to adhere to all the process’ we have put In place to keep everyone safe from Covid19 when you do return. In the meantime, please continue to work through your resource packs, and please email them back to your teachers as soon as you have finished them. 19.01.2022 G’day Heavy Vehicle Students, there is still no return to class dates for Tamworth TAFE heavy vehicles, plant and Ag courses. You and or your employers will re...ceive resource packs for you to work through at work, these will be sent out during the week you would normally attend classes. The resources will come via email, from your teachers. Please dis-regard any TAFENSW generic emails or text messages asking you to login, join or setup online accounts. None of our resources are available online. Please contact your teacher that is sending out your resources should you have any questions. 10.01.2022 G’day Everyone, Tamworth TAFE heavy vehicles, plant and agricultural mechanics have been approved to resume apprentice classes as of the 22nd June, for A week onwards. Your class attendance block dates have not changed, please attend your normal calendar blocks.... We will be operating under strict hygiene and social distancing guidelines, your teachers will discuss these guidelines with you at the start of each class. Can I ask all students to apply some common sense with regards to adhering to the guidelines while attending the campus and also if you are staying in accommodation. If you feel un-well don’t come in, please speak to your employer and let me or your teacher know. Also please remember that if you haven’t already emailed back your resources packs, you will need to bring the completed resource packs back to class with you. This is very important as the resource packs will contribute as evidence for your results of each unit. Once we complete the practical component, those units will not be delivered again until next year. 05.01.2022 Hi all, you should of all had communication in some form, over the last week regarding classes being postponed until further notice. We are currently in the pro...cess of building resource packs that you can work through at work until classes can resume. These packs will mainly be research and review at this stage, as not all workshops carry out the same practical repairs. Please follow your employers guidelines, but you are expected to go to work as normal during the blocks you would normally come to TAFE classes. Your normal class teachers will be in contact with your employers during the beginning of term 2, starting Monday 27th April. Cheers Matty. See more
