08.01.2022 For any of our followers who are in the optical industry, we are very excited to announce the following position vacant: Full-Time Optical Dispenser/Lens Desig...n Apprenticeship Hannaford Eyewear in Bowral NSW is offering a unique opportunity for a highly motivated optical dispenser to undertake the Spectacle Lens Design course offered by Optnet and tutored by Professor Mo Jalie (author of The Principles of Ophthalmic Lenses). The only qualified person to complete this course in Australia thus far is Grant Hannaford who will be a mentor. The apprenticeship will be undertaken as part of a full time position at Hannaford Eyewear where direct principles from the lens design course will be applied in real life practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for optical dispensing, excellent customer service and the desire to learn. Hours will be a fortnightly roster of Monday to Saturday (half day) on one week and Monday to Friday the second week.
