21.01.2022 Congratulations to our 2020 TAFE NSW Excellence Award Winner, Phil Creighton. Phil not only won the Supply Chain and eCommerce Student of the Year, but he was also announced the Apprentice of the Year for Southern NSW. Phil completed his Certificate III in Agricultural Mechanical Technology through the apprenticeship program with Hutcheon and Pearce, at TAFE NSW Wagga Wagga. This is the third year running that a Hutcheon and Pearce apprentice has taken out the Supply Chain and eCommerce Student of the Year and is the second time in three years that they have won the Apprentice of the Year for Southern NSW. Well done to Phil, his TAFE NSW teachers and Hutcheon & Pearce!

14.01.2022 The Australian fire and land management agencies recognise the Course in Basic Wildfire Awareness as the minimum requirement for non-firefighting personnel who provide support services at wildfires or at planned burns. This course provides the outcomes required to recognise the key risks of a wildfire or planned burn environment and the related precautions that need to be taken to avoid these risks for non-firefighting personnel, working under supervision in support roles at wildfires or at planned burns, or people who may encounter wildfires or planned burns in the course of their activities.
