22.01.2022 Rattling the cage to make a simple but effective solution for tyre mounts thst had to be side access for when the canopy goes on. Pretty happy with the outcome. All complete now and ready for the powder coaters once I rough in the wheel arch in fills on the body. Todd -TAG FAB-

17.01.2022 Some pics of the 300 extended 79 dc we finished some weeks ago getting a good run in the Vic high country. The customer is in disbelief of the difference in the way it drives, brakes, steers and performs off road. It has a brown Davis long range tank that sits under the cab and with the extension we stretched the tank to suit to utilize the original mounting locations and gaining another 35L or so capacity. We also redesigned the front tray mount set up wich made a much better use of the factory body mount and adding some needed strength in the new load point. Everyone's happy. Also threw a new set of under tray boxes and fill pannel up front wich carries the 2x fillers on one side and water tap on the other, I and a neat little drawer all fitting up to the factory tray.

17.01.2022 Something different got thrown into the mix in between jobs. A few towers for Vodafone.

16.01.2022 Progress slowed down with some illness of late but still got a few bits and pieces done. Filled in the gap between the cab, sorted the boxes, drawer, tap, tie rails, guards sorted. Water tank and the spare wheel mounts I've been dreaming up. Will be off to the powder coaters next week. The drawer looks longer than the tray somehow!!!!

14.01.2022 Get one job ticked off for the next stage with filling the arche in before I send it to the powder coaters and another rolls in for an extension. Father and son pair of rigs.

08.01.2022 A few Saturday snaps of the 79 extension that's well underway. 300mm changes the stance dramatically, looks unreal but all about that load transfer. I had a catch up with the customer to discuss further work while still utilizing the factory tray with a few upgrades, because that's what we do. Cheers Kev for your repeat business. (This is the same vehicle, one of my original build from near 4 years ago)

06.01.2022 The build that ignited the flame again for TAG FAB. On tour in the Kimberley looking flash with all the gear including the custom built boat loader.

05.01.2022 A few catch up pics of the PADDY PATROL. Canopy build, trying to stuff maximum functionality into a 1000mm wide set up has had me thinking! Re designed the door sealing face to minimize how much internal width for the drawers and fridge location so the narrow drawer and bench is actually usable and not only wide enough to slip a 10 pack of cans in or a loaf of bread. Now time to chuck some TAG FAB spec bling on it to really set it off. Also we shaped out the arch fillers to be worthy of the rest of the build. I have a vision and letting lose that hopefully draws in some attention.
