25.01.2022 What an incredible night the @rawaustralia show was on Thursday. This was my first exhibition and the whole experience has still got me buzzing Thank you to everyone that came along. It meant so much to me to see so many of your smiley faces and to have such great support I had an epic group of helpers in the lead up and on the night. Special mention to @dannoncade and @ericdenholm1 for helping me set up and pull off the vision. Shane and Andy at @artframers for getting a...ll my framing done so beautifully and so quickly. 17.01.2022 This months calendar floral is the Banksia Ashby's - a personal favourite of mine from the collection. This original is now being enjoyed in the lovely Georgie's home office in great company beside her Beau Est Mien Prints and Designs print. I have found myself, like Georgie and Lenny spying out banksias where ever I go. I love that they're all so different when they bloom and then go to seed. My favourite finds lately have been in the Banksia Garden at Kings Park and Botanic Garden. I hope May brings some lovely colours to you all at home and out on your daily walks.

13.01.2022 You best hold on tight to those bunches today We had a woolly day here in Perth so I spent most of it with a hot coffee in hand whilst packaging up these new additions. The new colours made an otherwise dreary day a lot brighter! 12.01.2022 Its hard not to become addicted to spotting seasonal blooms when you have @kingsparkandbotanicgarden at your doorstep. Ive become particularly obsessed with finding whats in season by going for a walk whenever I can (weather cooperating!) and observing whats in bloom. I find flowers can be such a great memory jogger. Thats one of the reasons I thought it would be so special to incorporate the actual bloom times for my native calendar last year. So that you can find your b...irthday flower, or remember the flowers that were inspiring you during the lead up to a special occasion or time in your life. Its also a great reminder to pop outside and see them in real life, whenever you can! For me I love seeing the first of the red flowering gums bloom around Christmas and January in the lead up to my wedding anniversary and birthday. Id love to know if you have any favourite natives youd like to see on my studio desk!
