23.01.2022 I felt stressed today. My afternoon was a series of events going wrong, one after the other. I was so exhausted and lost the time and energy to do a workout I had wanted to do. I asked a male friend for advice, and was told "go home and have a glass of wine." I said, "is that all you got? Really?" Each to their own. Of course having a glass of wine (or three) would have numbed the evening stress, but I think above and beyond: "Is that really going to leave me feeling alot bet...ter on a deeper level?" Especially as a health professional, I am passionate about looking after our mind, body and soul, in the RIGHT way, in a healthy way. So i jogged home with my shopping, got in my workout clothes and drove to the beach to do a workout. I had a healthy proten filled dinner to follow (chicken salad) and I can tell you, I feel honestly a lot better and all round more content! Let me share my passion for health and fitness with you. 23.01.2022 The upsides to staying at home during this period is you can work out however you like- no shoes no worries! 17.01.2022 Hi everyone, hoping you are all well. Seeing as we are spending alot of time at home indoors during this time, it's easy to indulge and eat high fat/carb foods. Here is a simple and delicious, super healthy dinner idea - Asian style stirfry: *Add crushed garlic and ginger with some chilli to a hot oiled pan before adding a range of fresh veg. *In a separate pan, fry over chicken or veg alternative (tofu) until nearly done *Add the chicken or veg alternative to vegetables, ... *add sauce in hot pan and mix through; honey, sesame oil, soy sauce, lemon and chilli flakes. *Enjoy with healthy carbs i.e brown rice, quinoa or pearl couscous Stay healthy!
