25.01.2022 In the previous lesson (Lesson 2), when I said caring for ones self, it does not mean being selfish. You need to take care of yourself, your mental and physical wellbeing in order to care for others. You need to value yourself before you can value others in the sense that when we appreciate our own self-worth, then we can see everyone else as unique and wonderful! Here is the next free lesson, Lesson 3. At the end of this lesson, we visit Carrs Park which is beautiful and tranquil, we practice tai chi there often. One day a national TV crew came to film us. 21.01.2022 This picture shows me doing the Subduing the Tiger pose on the Inca Trail, Machu Picchu. What a magical place! I underestimated the effects of high altitude so I was struggling for the first three days. It was a real challenge! That photo really shows how much I was fighting to climb those mountains. I didn’t give up, and by the 4th day, I was racing through the trail with my full fitness and strength back. Subduing the Tiger also shows the inner strength of tai chi. As ...with any crisis in life, especially the pandemic, we need to summon our fighting spirit.
