23.01.2022 Local cast still bit slow fishing with cool water temp seeing fish everywhere on the sounder but with only a few hits before Lukeo hooked up 2 callop on LJ Lures and Leeroy got a lil redfin. (TBHFC)

22.01.2022 Weekend up the river for the LMLFC annual SA callop championships cheers guys and girls great well run event with great prizes with a bunch a great people with many laughs over the two days. With the weather being windy as hell made it a bit tough with many hits and no hook ups early in the day till bout 11ish we ended up with 2 fish bag weighing 2.4kg with one nice size fish on day 1. Day 2 was well let’s just say its good to see under size callop around but not during comps lol all round for the day for us. Ended up finishing in 7th position

20.01.2022 Local cast today at Tailem callop slowly starting to fire up with lots of boney bream around in big schools on the swim and shrimps starting to break the surface in the shallows casting amongst them got a few hits and drops but landed 3 in the boat. (TBHFC) (LJ LURES)

17.01.2022 Arvo hunt round my block found a lil rabbit sitting in the open so dispatched it, also spotted what I thought was one big hare in thick scrub about 70 odd yards away I took the shot with my trusty 22 walked up to my surprise i was seeing double. Two for one shot (TBHFC)

12.01.2022 Well fair to say the lil yellas are back swimming through Tailem Bend like they seem to do every year at this time of year from the lakes towards up stream. LJ Lures doing the damage on all the fish, With many hits all morning but with no hook ups until around lunch time and when the water temp hit that magic 20 degrees the lil takers starting hitting lures for an hour or so. Lukeo also managed to land a nice callop in the mid 40’s. (TBHFC) (LJLures)

06.01.2022 Weekend started with a quick cast local out in the boat with Lukeo getting a few lil yellas on LJ Lures and Leeroy hooked a catfish on an LJ Lure which was very cool to see. Then the arvo came round we meet up with the lads Brad and Blan for a landbased session with Blan finding a nice chunky yella from the bank nice one bro!! Sunday morning was a tough one with only a few hits till Blan found a lil fella on a vibe. (TBHFC)
