24.01.2022 Congratulations Sue Piggott on receiving a Paul Harris pin for outstanding contributions to the Rotary Foundation
22.01.2022 Our guest speaker this week was Bishop Keith Dalby who told us of his time as a Submariner in the Aust navy. Whilst his time was enjoyable and there seemed to be a lot of 'high jinx' on board, there was always the threat of having to go to war.
22.01.2022 This week, Coorong Council Mayor, Paul Simmons was our guest speaker. Paul spoke about the challenges of being Mayor in such a large Council area as well as budgeting, new projects etc. He also spoke about the opening of the renovated rowing club area.
21.01.2022 This week we were finally able to complete a community project. We put together 100 covid face shields for use by staff at Lameroo & Pinaroo Hospitals. So good to be able to help with this project.
18.01.2022 "Many hands make light work"! Another session assembling 75 face shields for Lameroo & Pinnaroo Hospitals
17.01.2022 After another successful humanitarian trip to Cambodia late last year, some of the participants spoke at our meeting about their experiences installing toilets & water filters and teaching English at a school in Siem Reap. If you would like to paricipate in our next trip, please contact Sue Piggott, trip co-ordinator.

13.01.2022 Last night we celebrated Des Warner's outstanding contribution to our rotary club as well as 60 years since our club was first chartered. We might be a small club in numbers but we certainly make a huge contribution to our community.
09.01.2022 Over the last few weeks our Club has been involved in drive through flu vaccination clinics. We spent three days at Lameroo and one day at Pinnaroo assisting nursing staff at the medical centres to run the first ever drive through clinics held in this area. Over 250 patients were vaccinated without leaving their cars. This excellent event was organised to reduce the risk of Covid 19. Thankyou to Fiona and Kira for helping us to achieve this.
08.01.2022 This week we had two very confident guest speakers - Bailey Sewell & Fraser Hicks from Jervois Primary School. The students spoke about their Four Foundations Program with passion and enthusiasm. Bailey and Fraser were supported by their Principal, Mikelle Miegel.
08.01.2022 Community Grant applications are now open - application forms and critieria are available on our website - applications for grants up to $5,000 max close 30TH APRIL, 2020
08.01.2022 This week we were visited by a very special family who are championing Supertees, a tshirt made especially for children undergoing intensive medical treatment. The tshirt opens on all sides allowing for intervention without disturbing the child. Bec & her family discovered the shirt when their son Cameron was undergoing treatment for childhood cancer. Having seen the difference it made to Cameron's well being they are on a mission to supply SA hospitals with the shirt in conjunction with Rotary Clubs throughout the state. President Sally is pictured with Analise, Bec, Jamie & Cameron. Cameron is displaying the tshirt.
06.01.2022 Big thanks to Rotary for Bikes, water well and filters for locals
06.01.2022 We enjoyed our lunch at the New Hope Training Restaurant - training young adults in all aspects of food service. Some of us were brave enough to try the fried crickets!!
02.01.2022 Due to a national shortage our Club has been involved in making 100 face shields for use at Lameroo and Pinnaroo Hospitals. They are a simple single use shield that has helped protect health workers in both hospitals. We engaged local community members to make them due to the restrictions put in place by Covid 19. A huge thanks to Fiona, Lindsay and Vicki
02.01.2022 Many hours of volunteer labour by Rotarians & friends have gone into getting Food Bank Hub ready for business in Murray Bridge. Food Bank is now open every day except Wednesday. Anyone needing support can contact an agency like AC Care, Salvation Army etc for a voucher to allow them to purchase goods for a very small cost.
01.01.2022 Bishop Dalby addressing our last meeting
