18.01.2022 This customer has unfortunately cost themselves an avoidable charge by not cleaning their return air filter. This unit was 4 years old and the filter was so blocked it required the filter material and return air duct to be changed. The negative pressure from the fan had collapsed the return air duct and the unit was locked out on an overtemp fault. Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) has found that Heritage heaters are connected to the CO poisoning death of a woman in 2017. The coroner is currently conducting an inquest. ESV has found that these heaters spill too much carbon monoxide where they are subjected to negative pressure created by exhaust fans.... What should I do?
