18.01.2022 NBN is coming to Darlington soon, I've received an invitation from iinet to pre-order my NBN connection. Have any of you pre-ordered yet? I'm really hoping that our low population density will mean we get a better service than other suburbs have got. But I guess only time will tell. Wilson shared his map back in April and here is is again for you. This first one shows your estimated connection speed, just zoom in until you find your house and then click on it to see y...our estimated speed. http://nbnmtm.australiaeast.cloudapp.azure.com/nbnmtm.html And this other map shows the locations of all the nodes and mini nodes etc. for a bunch of hills suburbs. (Darlington is included in the Maidavale zone in this map. http://www.goo.gl/EJ2Oii Please comment if you've jumped in!

01.01.2022 Here is an Apple Mac tip to help you access different versions of OS X. You've probably noticed that every year Apple release a new version of their operating system OS X. Well usually I'm not ready to update my system at the same time that Apple releases it. If the next year rolls around and they release the next version of OS X, last years version will no longer be available to you. Read on to find out how to get around this and access previous versions of OS X. My pro t...ip for you is to always download Apple's latest OS soon after they release it. You don't need to install it right away or even ever. But this way when you login with your apple ID you will always be able to access each and every version of OS X that you previously downloaded. Apple will allow you to download the current or latest version only. The exception is that they will let you download any versions you have previously downloaded. The only way to access older versions of OS X if you didn't download them is to find a friend that did. See more
