25.01.2022 What's next? One of the beauties of what I do is you never know! But, soon there will be as twice as much mystery because we have two candidates for Tailored Artworks new Art Studio Assistant job, advertised on Seek! I will wait another week. Patience is a virtue! So excited!

23.01.2022 Looking back on my 6 months in the kombie, travelling around the Mediterranean ( Spain, Portugal, France, Yugoslavia, Macedonia, Greece, Turkey). I remember free camping at dozens of fabulous beaches. Always there was wine! I was a wild girl. Free. Overnighting at one fantastic beach in Portugal I learned how to smoke weed through an apple and then a coke can. Another beach, this time at Gallipoli, we made peace around the campfire with the nearby Turkish soldiers, their ...bottle of Raki and bullet belt over my shoulder! Now that was a night. When you create a space like Brendan's Santorini Resort, the images engage your memory. Moreover, visualisation is increased when you make it interactive with real wine, food and fragrances. Aromatherapy stimulates that part of our brain relating to memories. For Brendan, it was powerful stuff. For me, we'll here I sit, remembering. Why then, sit in a white box? Do something and make your space your little bit of heaven too.

13.01.2022 Through my travels around the Mediterranean in summer I remember that it's heat, not at all humid like here in Queensland, but just freshly warm (if that makes any sense!) seemed to make fresh food, like Oranges smell and taste all the richer. That heat, those blue violet skies, the culture and vivid colours were intoxicating. And, it's so easy to recreate! So, when Doctor Brendan wanted change and said he loved lots of bright colour and anything Santorini, he got it! Why w...ould you live in awful space ( see my only before pick) when you can make your space feel like a #santoriniresort looking out over the Med? Forget roses! Smell the Oranges! See, our brains can believe what we tell it. Sub-consciously if you constantly visualise what you want, the Law of Attraction makes it happen. Brendan got more Santorini resort holidays. Firstly though, I spent a full day re-arranging all of Brendan's stuff which had no order, style, theme, nada! Then, together, knowing what we needed where, we designed 3 #customartworks and inspired by this, with our team in toe, transformed Doc's miserable space into his very own bit of heaven. Looking at these photos now, I so want to go back to Santorini. Guess, I'll get there quicker within the next #brisbanemuralart !

11.01.2022 Picking up on her daughter's new #haymesartisan #metaltrace feature wall and #brisbanemural Chris found this rather lovely curvaceous study chair featuring a quilted pattern. The chairs soft charcoal picks up nicely on our charcoal metallic mural. Additionally, the linear nature of the quilted pattern reiterates the cross crossed #treemural. Well done Chris!

09.01.2022 Metal Trace in Rustic Gold by the #haymesartisancollection has given teenage Georgia and her mum, Chris, a glamourous #featurewall that adds mood to their #handpainted tree mural. Because shiny surfaces reflect light they create a sense of more space even if they are darker! The fabulous texture of #handpainted #haymespaints Rustic Gold creates organic luxury and opulence. Perfect for Chris' Natural Modern style and her teenager's desire for darker colours. This is a space teenage Georgia can grow into womanhood with.

05.01.2022 Christine and Georgia recently painted their#naturalmodern #treemural for Georgia's bedroom in a one day Private Art Workshop! It was a fun day fuelled by Chris' great hospitality. The final decor of Georgia's room is up to Chris. All shehas to do is use the same colours and keep it simple in the natural modern style.

02.01.2022 Happy news! I finally have a worthy Studio Assistant with enough talent to meet the mark. Her name is Rosie Bird and she tweets a happy and pretty song! Rosie has a Degree in Fine Art, with Honours, and is currently doing her 2nd Degree in Animation and Game Technology- meaning, she's good at tech and videography! I am thrilled! I have started teaching Rosie everything I know so that together we can get even more murals done and faster for Aged Care, our new YMCA Brisbane Account and our Corporate and Residential Murals and Renovations.
