21.01.2022 Morning All Fresh of the press!! Changes to the Real Estate Industry Award... The Fair Work Commission has varied the Real Estate Industry Award to exclude part-time employees from commission only payment schemes. Part-time employees will not be able to be paid on a commission only basis from the first full pay period starting on or after 30 June 2019. From this time all existing and new part-time staff must be paid at least the relevant minimum hourly rate for their classification. Please note, the Fair Work Commission is currently undertaking its annual review of minimum wages and Real Estate Industry Award wages may change as a result.
