25.01.2022 Congratulations to the hard working Team at Tony Noonan Racing. Surely this is what Racing is all about! My Mum and Dad along with the passionate community of senior citz at Beleura Retirement Village in Mornington had the thrill of racing the recently retired Annarbor. The people’s mudlark finished with a very credible 4 wins and 3 seconds from 21 starts. The Noonan Stable would frequently invite the owners (Neigh bours - pun intended) for stable visits and Tony was ...always so generous with his time on race days. Tony loves his owners and the citz certainly loved him. Famously when Annarbor won her third race in succession, the Mornington Racing Club swiftly converted a vacant function room into a giant Owners Bar where a prolonged celebration took place. Fortunately the citz lived close enough (250 meters) to stagger safely home! 25.01.2022 It wouldn’t be a Japan Cup Tour without a visit to the Hub!

24.01.2022 This Sunday the Japan Cup will be held at Fuchu Racecourse in Tokyo. Due to COVID travel restrictions, Tailor Made Travel will be unable to escort a group tour to the great race. Sadly, our run of 23 years of successive Japan Cup Tours will be broken. Naohiro Goda, our Host, great friend and supporter of our Japan Cup Tour sent the following cheerio message this morning. There is three Japanese Triple Crown winners in the Cup and Naohiro is tipping Daring Tact! Hi ...Haydn, I will miss you, Keith, and members of your team here at Tokyo. I like Daring Tact the best. I believe she is as good as Gentledonna and Almond Eye. The Kikka Sho was very tough race and I do not think Contrail is 100%. And this race comes to soon since Tennno Sho for Almond Eye. 18.01.2022 Greetings from beautiful Hokkaido! Our Japan Cup Tour was delighted to meet Irish champion Jockey Oisin Murphy at Oiwake Farm yesterday. Oisin has recently secured a riding contact in Japan will ride the race 2nd favourite Suave Richard In the Japan Cup on Sunday. Oisin will also fly to Hong Kong next week and represent Ireland in the International Jockeys Challenge at Happy Valley. Today our Japan Cup Tour travels to Tokyo!

05.01.2022 A week of wonderful highlights on our 2019 Japan Cup Tour comes to a close today. And what a thrill it was to see our new favourite Jockey Oisin Murphy boot home Suave Richard to win the Cup. Oisin was so generous with his time when he joined us Oiwake Farm in Hokkaido last week. World class racing, amazing sightseeing and our fantastic group made this year’s Japan Cup Tour another great success.

04.01.2022 Japan Cup Day 2018! Over 100,000 racegoers at Fuchu Racecourse in Tokyo witnessed champion 3 year old Almond Eye win in record time. She becomes just the 2nd 3 year old filly to win the Cup having already won the prestigious filly’s triple crown this season. Almond Eye’s historic victory was her sixth consecutive which draws comparisons with our own Winx and Europe’s Enable.

03.01.2022 The 2018 VRC Racing Tour to Hong Kong comes to a close and what a thrill it has been. We started with the excitement of racing under the bright lights at Happy Valley which celebrated the best jockeys from around the world compete in the Longines International Jockeys Championship. Today at magnificent Shatin Racecourse we and over 96,000 vocal racegoers witnessed the running of four Group One events - the Longines HKIR Cup, Mile, Sprint and Vase. Today will best be reme...mbered for the effortless and dominant win by Beauty Generation ridden by Australia’s Zac Purton totally destroying the rest of the field in the Longines Mile. For the very first time it was stellar occasion for Hong Kong racing winning all four International Races in a clean-sweep. We look forward to returning again to Hong Kong in 2019 departing Australia on December 03. See more
