22.01.2022 Love the highlights that stands out to Carmen of her recount of Backyard Blister. The 12hr is a perfect step up from shorter ultras to test out nutrition and hydration for longer ultras . . . besides who doesn’t loves snacks, a drink and a quick rest every hour The course is amazing and you may even get to encounter the local wildlife like this echidna

16.01.2022 I’m not sure how I stumbled across Blister but I’m glad I did. Getting to run on a private property and set up camp where many won’t ever experience was a privilege. Great course with so many animals and wildlife to take your mind away from the pain a little. Very well run event and I can’t wait to get back there in 2021.

This first event certainly was memorable from a Race Director angle The Backyard Blister was an unforgettable event for me. The organisers and other runners were great, offering support and encouragement throughout. The location is awesome and the course offers a good variety of terrain with plenty of natural bush beauty to to keep the mind interested as the hours tick over. It's an event I highly recommend to anyone looking for a fresh new challenge and the opportunity to push themselves to their limit.
