21.01.2022 Good Night All... From Polly and Dave

19.01.2022 1st December today! So that means HQ puts up all their decorations and tree! All the resident doggies and Ginge and any foster fur kid will be dressed up, under the tree. WATCH this space!

17.01.2022 To our loyal supporters We have raised enough money for one of our ‘Break A Leg’ furkids who has had his surgery and is starting his recovery Our other little fella has a lot more damage than we anticipated. It has been a old injury, which involves his hip as well! He is having scheduled surgery to do what can be done! We understand that this year has been hard emotionally and financially for a lot of us, so we are really humbled that so many people donated to these two li...ttle boys plights. We will keep up their progresses in the coming weeks. Thank you again We are still accepting donations for our other little fella. See more

15.01.2022 Little Eddie is resting at HQ! Surgery went really well! So happy for this little boy. He will make a beautiful little addition to a lovely family, as soon as he rehabilitates.

08.01.2022 We all can’t forget poor little Wallis that came to us, over a month ago, with a broken jaw, rotting pus filled teeth and emaciated, flea ridden & worm infested Undesexed at 12!! Well he has found his perfect retirement home. Lovely Leanne & Shane fell head of heels inlove with this unique little boy. They have a huge soft spot for the oldies that we do, and have another little old gentleman ‘Noah’ who is blind and deaf and 15. A big thank you to Wallis carers, as he did come... with some challenging behaviours that worked out over his time in care. Little Wallis has settled in so well in his forever home, that his family have informed us that it’s like his been there forever. Great Work team! This is why we do what we do!! Yay!! See more

07.01.2022 Good Night All

05.01.2022 Remember little Polly that came in with Wallis? They were not bonded, they were a breeding pair, and Polly couldn’t try hard enough to keep Wallis away from her. Polly was a mess as well. We kept her at HQ due to her blindness and her big operations. Polly was adopted out two weeks ago by a lovely lady Kathy. But during her stay at HQ we noticed her and the next newcomer Dave forming this loving little bond. Dave was so gentle with her, when they would play, and he would ste...al her little fluffy toys (babies) that she literally counted in her bed. When we took Polly to her new home, we took Dave, so Polly would transition as best as she could! We were wrong! Pollys new mum said she cried and whimpered at the door, when we left. As we drove off, we realised that Polly and Dave were meant to be together?! We didn’t want to say anything to Pollys new mum. But within a few hours we had a call from Kathy saying her and Polly have decided that they want Dave to join their family! Tears of happiness was what we felt when that news came in! We have never seen two doggies from different stories come into HQ and bond so beautifully! Thank you Kathy for understanding what rescue is about! The doggies! You are an angel and we thank you so much for seeing what we see... Lve. You knew Polly and Dave needed to be together. It wasn’t about fulfilling your life with a fur kid. It was about doing the best possible thing for Polly and then Dave. PS... the first two pics are when they came in before care, love and a much needed groom. See more

03.01.2022 What a day we have had... Two very sad stories for different reasons. These two boys were both surrenders today, from different people, and different areas. Both have broken legs and both are safe in our hands. Now we are realising the magnitude of having two doggies with broken legs!! Eek! ... This is when we need to ask for HELP!! Our little cavoodle boy has had quotes for his surgery. ($3000) Little pup, we will know tomorrow! We know we have a fantastic following of wonderful loyal followers, and we need some help, to get these boys well! We are a NON Profit Charity with DGR Status. Anything over $2 is tax deductible. We try so hard not to ask for help, but this time, we are desperate. ACC NAME: Tails of the Forgotten BSB: 034660 ACC:365633 REF: Break a leg

02.01.2022 UPDATE... on one of our ‘broken leg’ doggies. This little fella is doing extremely well, after his successful surgery last week. Settling in to life with his loving foster carers.
