Having made her performance debut last Junes Netflix & Chill Cabaret, she is busting on the Melbourne burlesque scene p...erforming in Red Light Confidential in September and in Le Grande Cabaret as part of Melbourne Fringe. Shes also meant to be doing a lit review right now, but lets not mention it. A queer performer taking her first strides onto the stage, she may be an emerging artist, but shes an established handful. In her civilian life, she started out in law, but was seduced by the glamour and prestige of social work, academia and disability advocacy. Shes one of the token non-autistic core members of A_tistic, and a Board Member of Pathways Melbourne. She co-created/-directed A_tistics latest production, ...Helping Hands, and is a writer for Passer Vulpes forthcoming podcast Supernatural Sexuality with Doctor Seabrooke. An aristocrat in the streets, and an autocrat in the sheets, Ira Luxuria takes her name from the Latin terms for rage and lust - her two favourite hobbies. She has performed inside shipping containers in Clayton and in the heart of Covent Garden, London, and charmed every local burlesque scene in between with her wiles, her wits and her tits.... Revealing a lot more than just skin, Ira bends genres and genders, intellectualism and puerile humour. Whether as femme fatale or drag scumbag, this performer takes ideas to their fullest extent and always subverts expectation. Ira is one of the core members of Melbournes smuttiest Rocky Horror shadow cast The Pelvic Thrusts, produces Wyndham Citys Sunday Movie Club cinema theatre experiences, and was 2nd runner up in the 2109 Miss Burlesque Victoria competition. Finn Doyle Music is a Melbourne-based singer/songwriter and sound designer who has been performing for over a decade. Finns distinctive style is characterised by atmospheric soundscapes, unique falsetto, and a powerful belting range. Taking influence from folk, post-rock, ambient and pop artists, Finns work on the Bluebird EP to the Open Letter EP spans a wide range of themes fro...m mental health, to pop culture representation, to gender and identity. Finn has worked in theatrical sound design, and is currently developing an adaptive music project. Born from a place where technicolour bleeds through the darkness, and leaves a stain that is oddly beautiful in its liminality. Caleb Darwent is a tr...ansfeminine queer feminazi with a gay agenda. They are a writer of poetry and prose, and one half of musical theatre writing duo Darwent & Gray. Their work combines the comedic with the dramatic and deals with queer life and relationships, as well as the realities of being a queer legend/icon/star in a cishet world. Aside from making art, they have made it their mission to bring down the patriarchy by being intensely fabulous at all times, and using their androgynous wiles to confuse as many straight men as possible. Why its COMMANDER Q, returned once again to the TAINT Cabaret stage! Commander Q is a tender-hearted genderpunk, a bard with a penchant for ukulele, endearing overshares, and strip artistry. They can often be found performing in Melbournes queerest cabaret spots with appearances at TAINT Cabaret, SIETE and Honcho Disko. Earlier this year they debuted their first solo show at the Melbourne Fringe Festival to much praise and at least a few tears. Returning to the TAINT stage after months of post-Fringe Festival hibernation, welcome back Commander Q! The artist frequently known as Ms CeCe Rockefeller, cabaret maker Christopher first took to the stage in his own right at TAINT Cabaret in May this year. Championing camp, queer and feminist ideals, this devilishly dandified gentleman delivers works of song and original poetry straight from the heart.... His latest full-length work for Ms CeCe, sapphic salon Ms CeCe Rockefeller: Somebodys Somebody | Melbourne Fringe, will return to Melbourne Fringe for a one-night-only encore on September 29.
