17.01.2022 And in our last shout out for 2020, we'd like to congratulate these two young future superstars of the Taipans who have both played their 100th game over the past couple of weeks. Both Dillon & Gurpreet are products of the Taipan junior program, and are adding substantial value to the Senior group now both on and off the field! Well done guys, and we will see you both in the New Year for more of the same!

16.01.2022 Round 7 Results for the Taipans! A big day for the club with the Firsts getting their first win for the year on the last ball of the day, the Seconds also winning on the last ball of the day (but the books are now with the RDCA for a recount to confirm), and the Thirds also won! ***Update - Seconds confirmed with the Win***... Trav and the Fifths had a bye this week, but will no doubt continue their run of form when they get back on the park next week.

14.01.2022 Templeton Cricket Club would like to acknowledge an achievement over the weekend with Tom Nurse playing his 100th game for the club. Tommy is a past committee member and 4th XI captain, and we all sincerely appreciate his positive impact on the fabric of the club. And to top it off, in his hundredth last weekend Tom had a massive impact in our 4thXI winning their second game of the season! In the first innings he finished with 8 not out (including a boundary) before playing a... key role with the ball ending with figures of 2/6 off three overs. Congratulations Tom, and we can't wait to see what your next 100 games deliver for the Taipans

12.01.2022 Congratulations to Adith Sundaresh, recipient of first eleven hat number 186 for the Taipans. Adi joins us from Knoxfield as a multiple premiership winner as a top order bat, and adds some more experience to our batting depth. In only a short period of time Adi has already shown that he will be a valued member of the club, both on and off field. ... Best wishes for your career at Templeton, I am sure it will be a successful one.

10.01.2022 On Monday night the RDCA held their awards night for season 2019/20, and a few Taipans were lucky enough to collect their awards and Premiership flags! Congratulations to Niraj DeSilva on winning both the "All Rounder Award" and the "Bill Wilkins Medal" in Wilkins Cup last season. We also congratulate Joel Taylor for winning the league batting average for our 4ths!... And finally both Linc & Niraj were lucky enough to pick up our pennant and shield for winning the Wilkins Cup last year! Well done to all of you!

A shout out to all who made the team this week, a number of good performances missed out, but this week is headlined by Devesh Singh who put so much effort in with bat and ball for the seconds that his legs cramped up and he couldn’t even walk the 100m across the road to his his house from Milpera after the conclusion of the day!

09.01.2022 Templeton Cricket Club would like to take this opportunity to recognise an outstanding achievement over last weekend, which saw Rick Meehan play his 200th Senior match for the club. Better known in current times as "Dan's Dad", Rick has been a long term member of this club and his effort and competitive nature on the field can never be questioned. Please don't underestimate how important you are in our lower grades, your experience is so very important and something that is ...looked at by all of our younger members when learning the "Taipan Way" - and we in turn hope you still play for many more years. Congratulations Pepper, it's been a long time coming, and we look forward to your continued input and support for many years to come.

Please see below updated schedule which will get us through to Christmas - unfortunately we have had to split our teams across two venues... but we do ask that all players still attend Templeton for dinner and team announcements on a Thursday no matter where they have trained. Sessions with an asterix will have the coach in attendance, if t...here is not an asterix unfortunately the group will be required to coordinate their own session for that instance.
