23.01.2022 Yes, we know and understand there are some struggles to having natural, curly hair. It gets tangled sometimes, you have to use a lot of conditioners and do treatments all the time. You may not have the same look everyday. It is hard work! However it is fun, unique and you probably understand how amazing it is to embrace your natural locks after few months wearing curly! 22.01.2022 What do you think about shiny, healthy looking curls? We know curls can be quite unpredictable and unruly at times. However the more we hydrate and the more we wear it out the better it will look. During the time at home hydration should be our hair priority! No ponytails or in a bun! Try different techniques and products. I am sure you will eventually nail it!

20.01.2022 Can you see my greys ? Keep sliding you'll find them! I am a real brunette and I've always loved being one. However, when my greys popped through like there is no tomorrow after my first child, I had to change that! I now camouflage my greys with colour work. The question is: Can I colour my curly hair ? Yes we can! This is my 3rd day curl without too much fuzz and it feels healthy and shinny. I get my colour done once every 3 to 5 months. It doesn't need to cover the greys completely, but highlight the curl, giving texture, volume and most importantly blending the greys. would like to cover your greys? Or perhaps embrace the them? Hows your confidence right now? In this photo my hair is darker and blowdried. I used to blowdry my hair often. And I loved it. It didnt mean I didnt like my curls, or I was neglecting it. I would still look after it well and then sometimes wear it curly. I just wanted to say that it is ok if you want to blowdry your hair. When you are ready to embrace completely your curly hair. Born and raised in São Paulo Brazil, my mother owned and managed an acclaimed hair salon for more than 33 years. I first picked up the scissors at the age of 14 and I was a natural! 08.01.2022 Will colouring my hair affect my curl pattern? Have you ever wondered that? Well it depends. Basic hair colour, should not affect your curl pattern if it is done properly. It can actually improve the condition of the hair by filling it up the cuticles with pigment. But, extreme colouring that requires striping colour out, like bleach, can alter the curl pattern if not used the right techniques and products. Any change in the curl pattern should repair itself within 2 weeks with the right protein treatment and home care. If you have been thinking about a change and colouring is one of your options! Don’t be scared! We are here for YOU! We use a clean orgnic hair colour that is ammonia free. #taishairstudio

I was always meant to be a hairdresser even when I didn't want to accept it and left the industry to explore the world of skin back in Brazil on my early 20's! Life brought me back to hair in Australia about 13 years ago and I couldn't be happier. I wanted to share this photo because I never wear make up and @tabitameirellesmakeup did such a great job!
