23.01.2022 Tait Network is proud to be a sponsor of this year's @DesignCanberraFestival, and today is a very good day to get involved!

23.01.2022 Our Director Obelia Tait spoke to Foreground magazine about what makes great streets, our AILA ACT Australian Institute of Landscape Architects-award winning 'Streets for Community' research project, and Canberra after the Griffin plan in their latest issue. Take a look! https://www.foreground.com.au//griffins-canberra-reclaimi/

20.01.2022 Have your say on the future of Haig Park this Sunday- featuring free (and outstanding!) coffee, games, activities for kids and an opportunity to influence the future of this important place. Kick off at 10am. https://www.facebook.com/events/157593855047336/

20.01.2022 We're very pleased to have partnered with the CRA to produce this plan. Have a look and have your say on this critical project.

16.01.2022 Excited to partner with SONA University of Canberra on the 24hr Studio event happening this Thursday and Friday! https://www.facebook.com/events/204308230172305/

15.01.2022 Hello from Tait Network! We are a collective of Architects, Landscape Architects and Urban Planners whose aim is to improve quality of life through the built environment. We create beautiful, functional and sustainable places through architecture, landscape architecture and urban planning.... We design places: buildings, suburbs, parks. We look at the spaces between structures too. We believe that life can be improved through great design; buildings that balance functionality and delight, green spaces that enliven and offer respite or adventure; empathetic urban design that understands how people move and what we need to get the most out of our places. We're shaping better cities.

09.01.2022 Check out some vision from the scene of the AILA ACT Australian Institute of Landscape Architects awards, including some words from the boss!

08.01.2022 Managing risk in playgrounds is a major interest of ours- Throsby Playground being an example of our desire to create spaces where kids can test themselves safely. For those interested in the subject this Canberra Times piece on how playground design has changed over the decades is worth a look. http://www.canberratimes.com.au//canberras-playgrounds-hav

08.01.2022 Thanks to Sue at Weekend Notes for the kind words on Throsby Playground- well worth a visit for the young/young at heart! https://www.weekendnotes.com/throsby-playground/

03.01.2022 Delighted to take part in the SONA University of Canberra 24Hr Challenge last week, and very happy to report that the next generation of UC graduates is filled with talent! Congratulations indeed to Grace, Rachel & Henry, and to all the participants.

02.01.2022 Delighted to win in two categories at last night's AILA ACT Australian Institute of Landscape Architects awards, for Streets for Communities (in Research) and Fetherston Ridge (Infrastructure). The awards were made even more gratifying given the standard of competition- the quality of new work in our city is incredibly high, and we're happy to contribute! Congratulations to Jane Irwin Landscape Architecture, Redbox, Occulus, Harris Hobbs, Spacelab, Context and all the other winners and nominees. Many thanks to the jury and AILA for the recognition and the fantastic event. You can read more about this year's awards here: http://www.aila.org.au//Three_Awards_of_Excellence_at_AILA

02.01.2022 We're incredibly proud and happy to report that Tait Network took home two major awards at the 2018 The Australian Institute of Architects ACT Chapter event on Saturday- the Sir John Overall Award for Urban Design (for Throsby Infrastructure) and the award for small project Architecture (for Kingston Boatsheds). Projects of this ilk are the creation of huge teams and require great clients; we'd very much like to thank everybody who worked with us, especially the Suburban Land Agency and Calibre Consulting, as well as the jury and the ACT Chapter. https://architectureau.com/ar/2018-act-architecture-awards/
