18.01.2022 Today is World Mental Health Day. Reach out to your loved ones and those in need

16.01.2022 This popped up in my memories and I thought I’d reshare. To those that have cared for or caring for a loved one presently, know you are appreciated and loved by everything you do. If you know somebody who needs to hear this, say it today

13.01.2022 This is a very fitting explanation of what many of us may be feeling during lockdown right now. It certainly has has an enormous impact on people who are grieving with: ~ loss of social connection ~ job ~ family opportunities ... ~ loss of a loved one ~ loss of the life you were previously living. The pandemic has disrupted our lives, especially to those who have lost a loved one. Many would agree that the isolation highlighted the absence and leaving people with nowhere else to look , except within. Although difficult , you can assist your grieving journey by: slowing down your pace and giving yourself time acknowledge what you are feeling and allow yourself to move through the emotion gently be kind to yourself know that it’s ok not to be ok maintain connections with loved ones via technology seek professional help if needed Remember you are never alone

09.01.2022 Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas . Be kind to one another and gentle on yourself. Sending you all blessings

08.01.2022 How do YOU switch off during the holidays? The festive season is well and truly here and in Melbourne we can finally attend end of year parties and see people again without restrictions. What a year!! Holiday stress is often more elevated and some people find it difficult to unwind.... Guilty of that It takes me quite a few days to ‘unplug’ from my work commitments. I have also had many clients expressing their fatigue when the New Year begins as they simply haven’t stopped. Here are a few tips to keep in mind during the holiday period to keep you on track and ready for 2021! Acknowledge your feelings and listen to your body. If you feel tired, do something that you enjoy or simply rest Reach out and connect with people that lift you Be realistic. Avoid making a ‘to do’ list that has more than 5 items on it. That way you set yourself up for success with achievable outcomes Learn to say no. Remember you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to Don’t abandon your healthy habits: eat well, exercise, sleep. With a little planning and positive thinking you can find peace and actually learn to let go and just be. Remember if you don’t do it for yourself nobody else will.

07.01.2022 Congratulations to these wonderful young people for completing another year of their schooling. What a year! Their resilience and persistence certainly paid off and as their teacher I couldn’t be more proud
