08.06.2022 We will be taking a break from today until 30th May. We are finally getting to catch up with our families & friends in the U.K. who we haven’t seen for 4 years. We have the most amazing life here & wouldn’t swap it but as with many families, we didn’t realise we would have to go so long without seeing each other. I’ll still be replying to messages & emails during this time so please still get in touch, it may just take me a little longer to get back to you. I’ll be back to work on 30th May so any booking will be for after then.

04.06.2022 Huge congratulations to these guys for graduating come on their life skills class today! Leo, Dave, Rocky & Roxy all did incredibly well! We missed our lovely Stormy but she’ll be finishing her session at the next class. The rain tried to stop us but we had great fun looking at different agility equipment at the end of the session!

18.05.2022 A new snuffle mat went out to its home today! In real Aussie colours! Really pleased with how this turned out & I hope little Teddy enjoys it!

12.05.2022 Thursday night saw the end of this round of puppy classes. Big big well done go Molly, Rosie, Teddy, Milo & Gracie. They all did so well & their families put lots of work in which definitely showed! Keep up the great work! My next puppy school will start on 2nd June so please get in touch to book your space.

05.05.2022 I think a lot of us can relate to this!

17.04.2022 Riddick looking for a Retirement Home RIDDICK - the most beautiful soul Yes! It’s true! This gorgeous boy who has been all over socials these last few mon...ths is ready to find his perfect forever retirement home! Please read his detailed profile below and click on the link and fill out our adoption form if you think he may suit! Age: 6yo Breed: Bull Arab x Kids: Yes, dog savvy kids over 5+ Cats: yes, with very slow introductions and ability to separate at first. Resident dogs: calm, independent female dog if any, NO male dogs. Absolutely fine as a solo dog! Pocket pets: No Medical: deaf Riddick is a deaf, desexed, 6yo BA x (approx 32kgs) who has absolutely thrived in care with one of our amazing trainers these last few weeks! Riddick also has heterochromia but does not have any sight issues. TRAINING: It was clear when he came into care that he was once very loved.. He is doing really well, such a quiet and considerate boy with a beautiful soul. He walks well on a Halti and this will need to be continued in his new home. He knows: sit, drop, stay and ‘check in’ when walking, he LOVES to check in with his carer and is very enthusiastic! He loves to give you a really good ‘sit’ when waiting for doors to open which is very respectful and to be expected from this gentleman. He has progressed with his other signs, lead training and going on bush walks and walks to anywhere with water - dam, beach, creek etc! ENRICHMENT: If left alone, Riddick mostly snoozes the day away, but it’s important he is provided with enrichment each day as well so he doesn’t become bored. This can look like using puzzle toys, Kong Wobbler, bones, kiddy pool with water or sand, lickimat or some durable chew toys. He’d also love a comfy bed to snooze the day away on! He hasn’t shown any separation anxiety either but would prefer someone to be home more often than not if possible. SOCIALISATION: He would be fine with an older, very independent female dog who isn’t a fan of playing too much, if at all, as he enjoys his own space too. A calm dog that is not in his face and just wants her own space, or he’d be absolutely amazing as a solo dog too! Riddick is also good with cats with slow introductions to begin with and ability to separate a must. Unfortunately, no pocket pets sorry! He is not aggressive and is such a sensible, calm fellow who loves his humans SO much. A retirement home where he can be inside and outside wherever his family is would be his idea of heaven! He’d love to accompany you to the beach, to the bush, anywhere with water! Riddick loves open spaces so somewhere with a yard or opposite an oval, bush, creek or park would be in his best interests but not essential. LAST WORD FROM HIS CARER This boy deserves the very best forever retirement home! He would love to be a companion for a single person, family with teenagers or a retired couple looking for a mate. He will need ongoing training and of course, all the love in the world! He’s a very special boy who has made a lasting impression on his foster carer for sure We provide support with training whenever needed. Interstate adoption is available if he will be a SOLO dog only. Transport to be paid by the adopter. Riddick is currently located in SYDNEY. If you think you’d be a fabulous forever retirement home for Riddick, please fill out a *detailed* foster care form below https://www.jotform.com/202901640076852

23.01.2022 This morning saw the end of the last Life Skills class of 2020! It’s been a wonderful course with Rosie, Murphy, Piper, Loui & Donald. I got to have a 1 on 1 session with Rosie today and she did great! We focused on loose lead walking, leave it & wait & then let her have some fun with some agility equipment. My next 2 Life Skills classes will start on 9th January at 9am & 13th January at 9:30am. Please get in touch to book a place!

19.01.2022 Buddy is having a very relaxing day today

17.01.2022 Sydney ended our session last week by relaxing in the garden bed her recall has come so far and is incredible!! Her lovely family have put so much work into getting a reliable recall. We looked at loose lead walking, mat training and helping her feel comfortable around moving vehicles

13.01.2022 I had a 1 on 1 session with the extremely cute Yoshi on Thursday & what a little star he is!! His Mum asked me to come out to help with toilet training so we talked through how to help him understand where to toilet, sleeping through the night, puppy biting & alone time. He’ll be coming to puppy class in January but is settling into his home beautifully!!

13.01.2022 A new round of Life skills classes is starting in Samford Village for you & your dogs! The course is 6 weeks long and suitable for dogs over 16 weeks old. The classes will start on: Saturday 6th March at 9am Wednesday 10th March 9:30am... Get in touch to book your spot today

08.01.2022 This is exactly how banana eating goes in my house

07.01.2022 Something to remember....a wagging tail does not always mean a dog is ‘happy’ & wants to engage.

07.01.2022 This is what 20 minutes of training does! These 2 have been asleep for the last hour after doing some scent work training & working on a sustained hand touch this morning. Training is so good for helping improve and continue the relationship you have with your dog and is great for their mental well-being!

07.01.2022 Our first Life Skills Program of 2021 came to an end on Saturday. What a wonderful group of dogs & their families. They all put so much work in and it really showed. Here’s Zoro, Murphy, Snickers & Walter! We missed Archie & Audrey as they were unable to make it.

06.01.2022 Well that’s it for 2020! I’ll be delivering a few enrichment items and other bits today but I’m now officially on holiday! Thank you all for your support this year - what a year it’s been! I appreciate every one of you and your lovely pets and feel honoured that you’ve welcomed me into your homes. I can’t wait to see your progress in 2021 and hopefully meet lots more of you! I hope you all have a wonderful Xmas & New Year

05.01.2022 I caught up with Coco for the second session of her training package. We worked on upping distraction during recall and at the dog park, asking her to drop items and the beginnings of a ‘leave it’. As you can see she was very pleased with how her session went
