25.01.2022 ***NEW MUSIC*** Please check out this excellent album featuring my Guru Bhai Ciro Montanari on tabla. I have had the pleasure of knowing Ciro for many years since my first travels to Italy in the mid to late 2000s to study tabla under the Maestro Pandit Sankha Chatterjee.... Ciro is a great musician and has collaborated with many headline acts such as the leading Afghan Rabab player Daud Khan Sadozai amongst many others across Europe, India and the US. Still recall our first meeting at Olivier’s Jazz Club in Greenwich: as soon as David began to play, all of us in the room stopped and simply wanted listen to him for the remainder of the time we had in the studio - his playing was mind blowing!
