24.01.2022 So your website is looking pretty good, nice one! But how does it work technically? Here are a few of our top tips on not only making your website look good, but function well too. ... Menu & Navigation Ensure the menu and navigation at the top of your website is clean and simple. The core purpose of your website is for someone to be able to get in touch with you. So make a phone number, email or contact form easy to find. Social Media Icons Keep facebook and Instagram icons down the bottom of the page so you arent driving people away from your website. Youve worked too hard to get them there. You want your main call to action included at the top of the page. Your logo Your logo should ideally be in the top left corner, as this will also navigate back to the home page. Attention grabbing Does your website grab your visitors attention within the first five seconds. Can they see what you do and why you are the best at it? How does your website rate for the above elements?

And being a professional made me a better mother because by pursuing my dreams, I was modelling for my girls how to pursue their dreams. - Michelle Obama... We couldnt love this more. 22.01.2022 Have you ever wondered.... What does a copywriter do? Youre not alone. Some would think it is to do with legal stuff - but that is copyright and relates to trademarks and all that legal jazz.... Copywriting is different. And the simple answer? Copywriting is all about words. And where are words? Theyre everywhere. That packet of biscuits you opened for morning tea - a copywriter would have written the product description on the back of the packet. The website you googled to buy a new shirt? All the words were written by the business owner, or a copywriter. Words are literally all around us. Copywriting can also be impacted by SEO (search engine optimisation). So how well the copy is written, and where it is placed on a website can also impact how well your website ranks on google. And the best copy? It helps to connect with your audience and your customers. And if the copy is on your website? You need it to be loved by Google too. Not sure how to make that happen? Then get in touch with the team at Regional Roar. [email protected]

19.01.2022 WHO CARES? Thats the first question I ask when I am writing copy for any marketing material for myself, or for a client. Whether its a post on Facebook, a glam shot over on Instagram, a caption on YouTube, a blog article, or even the copy on a website, you should be able to confidently answer who cares?... Are you using simple language in your message to the people who will care? There are no awards for using big words to make yourself sound smart. People just want simple, clear information. Want to know the second questions I ask myself when writing copy? How will this actually help people? 11.01.2022 Have you heard about paperclip advertising? Well.... you shouldnt have. But it does sound a lot like Pay per click advertising. ... Pay per click advertising (or PPC as it is also commonly referred) is a type of paid digital marketing where advertisers pay a fee each time their ad is clicked. The most common type of PPC is for Google Ads (that you will no doubt have seen at the top of the page when you last did a google search). However it can also be used for other social media advertising, including on Facebook and Instagram depending upon the type of campaign chosen on those platforms. So, youve heard people talk about PPC and Google Ads. So should you do them for your business too? Here are some things to consider before you jump in: Do you have the budget for paid ads? Could you get a better return by focusing on improving your SEO (search engine optimisation instead)? If you have a budget, are you using multiple advertising forms to test and measure results, to see which form of advertising best suits your products/services? If youre not sure if paperclip advertising, oops we mean Pay per click advertising is for you, then wed recommend chatting with one of our marketing strategists to discuss your sales goals.
