These extremely talented brothers are Irish musicians, poets, and thinkers who have inherited a store of traditional culture through their parents and several other key mentorships. During this we had a pleasure to host , Founder and CEO of the Quest for Life Foundation which she established in 1989 after a series of personal traumas including her near-death from leukaemia, just after her brother’s suicide in 1982. Petrea has received the Advance Australia Award, Citizen of the Year and the Centen...ary Medal for her contribution to the community. She has been nominated for Australian of the year each year since 2003 as well as being a NSW finalist for Senior Australian of the Year in 2011. In 2003 she was celebrated on Channel 9’s This Is Your Life and has been featured twice on Australian Story, Compass and many other television and radio productions. During our conversation with her we explored how to deal with great pain, feel great joy, and how to navigate through difficult times.
