16.01.2022 Hi everyone. This is a quick note to let everyone know that Talking Teens has some exciting news. I am beginning the transition process of merging with the amazing Shari over at Teenage Survival Coach. We are combining to offer a comprehensive model of support, understanding, inspiration and care for those who are walking the path of raising teens. To be honest, our messages are pretty much the same: we have both ‘been there, done that’ and both have a down to earth realisti...c approach and attitude to parenting teens. We have both laughed, cried and bargained our way through. There’s not a lot we have not experienced combined. Many of my page followers are already followers of Shari so you understand. We will still bring our unique quirks and qualities (I think I swear more than her?) so there will always be what you came here for - but then some! So how do I go about combining the groups? It starts with name changes. Talking Teens will evolve from TT to Tween2Twenty (our joint venture from 2021), starting with the first step of changing to Talking Tweens2Twenty - just so you know. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. There may be some transitional bumps along the way, so if you are looking for something you can no longer find, just message me x I hope you join me moving to this bigger and better joint venture. If you don’t already know Shari, trust me she is awesome (and she is a kickarse motivator so you will see a great deal more actually happening in 2021 other than the occasional meme as brought to you by 2020!!) 12.01.2022 Having raised three amazing, inspiring, mind blowing teen boys - who have driven me to tears, anger, desperation and despair, as well as made me prouder, loved deeper and laughed harder- they are worth the hard slog it can be to navigate them and support them during the teen stage. A great article to show - IT IS WORTH THE EFFORT to change the way you are parenting if it is not currently working!
