11.01.2022 We watched 2040 yesterday in Tamworth and Emily took part in the panel discussion after the showing. If you're feeling overwhelmed about global warming, this film will encourage you to keep going Film maker Damon Gameau explores solutions that are already being applied around the world and offers a hopeful outcome for 2040. These solutions need to be both bottom up and top down. Our advice? Keep implementing changes in your own life, inspire those around you, and let our politicians know we want and expect more action.

11.01.2022 Like many of you, this drought hangs heavy on my mind. Here in Tamworth, we're on level 4 water restrictions with little relief insight, the effects of climate change are tangible in our own backyards. Farmers have had a loud voice in the crisis and have recieved much empathy for the work they do. Did you know that Kmart uses Australian cotton to make their tshirts? On face value this seems like they are doing the right thing by "supporting aussie farmers" and using Austra...lian grown produce. But, at $3 an item are we really valuing Australian produce and farmers? See more

07.01.2022 THE AMAZING ENVIRO RACE 2019 On Friday, high school students participated in the race, completing educational activities around different aspects of environmental sustainably. Being involved in my community as a volunteer also has a huge positive impact for me personally. Being surrounded by motivated like minded people makes my heart sing. (Our task was learning about fashion from cradle to grave and the negative impacts of fast fashion. ) Thank you @sustainable...northwest for creating positive events for our community.
