23.01.2022 Opening of our new production site! Smiths TMP’s new production area opened festively on the 18th of March 2019. Next to its existing production floor, Smiths TMP expanded its floor with another 300sqm and brand-new equipment. The expansion gives space to over 60 employees and prepares Smiths TMP for a solid growth in the coming years. Smiths TMP’s story started back in 1976, when founder Ron and Neil Smith had the idea of constructing a small processing plant to service th...eir own butcher shop. Since then the company continually invested in new buildings, equipment and its employees. 43 years after its start, Smith TMP now has over 120 employees, and next to 25 vacancies still waiting for candidates. Independently designed and built by one of five family members in the business, the new production floor allows Smiths TMP to increase their quantity without lacking in quality. Better machinery, automation and an ergonomic design of each work station supports our employees to fulfill their daily tasks smoothly. Smiths TMP’s goal for the upcoming years is clear: growth and employee development! After introducing their product overseas a few years ago, there seems to be a large demand worldwide. In the near future Smiths TMP will be able to access more than 30 countries. As the number of employees increases, lunchroom and amenities will be upgraded till end of the year.
