03.01.2022 My pick of small business highlights from tonight's federal budget. JobMaker - hiring credits for up to 12 months to employers who hire those aged between 16-35. (Must work more than 20hrs p/w) Tax Cuts - individual tax rate thresholds pushed back. 19% threshold from 37K to 45K and 32.5% threshold from 90K to 120K. This is backdated to July 1 2020.... As of tonight more than 99% of businesses will be able to write off the full value of eligible assets purchased. $240 million invested through Women's Economic Security Statement, equals more jobs, safety and opportunities for women. #Budget #Highlights #TallBooks #TicTax #LUNA #Accounting #Bookkeeping #Australia #Tax #Incentives
