Its been a tough year but the hole youre in is never deeper than the hole you would leave in peoples hearts and the hole you would leave in the community if you committed suicide. Believe it or not but folk in Rural Communities are all in the same boat, its just that some have a window seat and others feel they are below the water line (which is where I feel at the moment). Reach out to a neighbour, mate or loved one if you feel like me, like the water is above your head and you feel like you will never get above it. We will get through this season together. 19.01.2022 More often than not my work is taking me to those paddocks that the farmer is having trouble with; more often than not that paddock is out of balance physically, chemically and biologically. But I tell all of my clients; do not despair! No-ones soil is perfect; but I havent yet found a soil that is so far beyond redemption that it cannot be improved, thus improving productivity. 15.01.2022 Got called to a fire at Weethalle today but they didnt need the Tallimba truck in the end. Was a bit of a wake up call for me as I only had half my gear with me at the shop (no helmet, goggles, jacket or flash hood)! If anybody is missing gear or anybody around Tallimba wants to sign up to our brigade (and be issued gear) please get in touch with me. The goggles, flash hood and gloves are the best bit of gear you can have with you (they fit in your ute or esky), there are always jackets in the trucks but goggles, flash hood and gloves make you an effective fire fighter.
