25.01.2022 There is always something to do at Apollo Bay, if you haven't visited the local foreshore market it is a great place to find local handcrafts, listen to buskers and enjoy a coffee as you wander around. Every Saturday from 8.30am to 1pm but also tomorrow, Wednesday 16 Jan

19.01.2022 Chopping firewood this morning we were joined by a few yellow robins and a pair of grey shrike thrush all hoping for a breakfast of witchetty grubs or termites. The yellow robins are very pretty to watch and serenaded us for quite a while but I think that the shrike thrush has the most beautiful song in the bush

08.01.2022 Yellow Robins nest just outside Blackwood cottage, held together by spider webs and lichen. Quite low to the ground but very well camouflaged and hard to see. Many of our birds already have or are having 2nd cluthches at this time of year. With all the rain we have been having is everything is still looking nice and green
