03.01.2022 A quick update on the honey situation. As many of you are probably aware honey has been scarce this last year. Due to droughts, bush fires and then inconsistent rains it has been one of the worst years for the bees. Seasoned beekeepers say in their lifetime of beekeeping they have never seen it so bad. This has caused beehives to struggle and many beekeepers suffering losses due to this. The start to this season is looking better but there still is not that much honey for the taking. We are in the process of harvesting some excess stores from winter and will shortly have limited honey available. Considering the past year and in keeping aligned with other local honey producers we are increasing our price. We will be selling 1kg tubs for $14 and 500gr squeeze bottles for $8. We will put up a post when the honey is ready for pick up.
