Our first tip is to pro...tect your car battery by charging it or taking your car for a short drive. If a car isn't driven at least once every few weeks the battery will eventually start losing charge. In fact, many cars now have systems that draw on the battery even when the car is turned off. To help preserve the life of your battery, consider investing in a trickle charger and, at the very least, going for a quick drive or running the engine for a while once every couple of weeks. If you notice corrosion around your battery terminals, consider contacting your local Repco Authorised Service centre to have your car battery cleaned and inspected.
