Okay @tamale_studios Here's my #tamalestudiosbigidea you would probably know me as that redheaded models thats always in lingerie in your studio that's always trying to coax the cats into modelling with me You said you wanted big ideas so I thought I would throw you one of my biggest passion projects I've been dreaming of but never came to because I don't have a studio space I'm by trade a qualified hair and makeup artist who specialised in special effects and theatre production including wig work I make, hand dye cut and style the wigs I use in my shoots as well as design and sew a lot of the costume pieces and jewellery I wear in my shots So it's no surprise that Alexia Sinclair has been a huge inspiration for me and her work I think could best explain the inspiration for this project Through the looking glass An aerial shot taken of a scene created with cascading objects to create the illusion of falling through the rabbit hole A whirlwind of playing cards ticking clocks and antique paraphernalia and with the help of a strategically styled Sarah laidlaw gravity defying Inspired wig will help bring the scene to life I think metaphorically creating this piece now would resonate with what a lot of people are currently feeling and experiencing And while it's hit artists quite hard I would like to assemble a team of unique creatives (super cool team name still pending) I think this picture can be captured in multiple very distinct perspectives showcasing the photographers niche style From high editorial, otherworldly, and cinematic I would like to include a range of artists whose pent up creative frustrations can be funneled into this project Including but not limited to florists and floral arranging Set designers prop makers Professional thrift store crawler/dumpster diver (a fictional qualification I consider myself greatly qualified in) Graphic illustrator Multiple photographers who specialise in different niches **Continued in comment**

10.01.2022 Hey Mates, In light of the new rules and regulations associated with Victoria’s lockdown we have made a few decisions. We will continue to keep Studio Burrito open with a 50% discount on any half day or full day booking but we are going to enforce a cap of 10 people/crew or less inside the studio. We will also be extending this discount through to April 14th. We’ll be changing and updating on the medical advice given to Victorians.... Studio Burrito is a 108 square meter space and the legal limit for this space (as of right now) is no more than 27 people. We have decided that 10 feels like a much safer number for all involved, including our staff. For those of you that must be isolated or are unable to shoot at this time, we are offering discount vouchers that can be redeemed for single bookings as well as bulk booking vouchers. You can find more information about these in the BOOK NOW section of our website. As we stated before, in the event of more stringent lockdown rules, we will follow the advice from the government with regards to keeping the studio open.
