Ooops OMG Can never complain about China , even if they try to bring in pests and potential diseases in fresh cooked food at airports or are very rude when encountering them in overseas travel destinations.. 23.01.2022 A sad moment last night, and sadly it had to come ..The passing of Dame Vera Lynn. 103 years old..wow...amazing... Whilst i was born a few short years after WW2, my parents inroduced me to her music through my young years and today I was , as for many a little choked inside at the loss of this famous and gracious and lovely lady who brought so much to so many at a terrible time in world history. As the saying goes they just dont make people like her anymore. Interesting how... her singing life turned around in the early years of the war when she thought her singing career had ended to take her on a path of fame but very importantly a path to help many during the war and bring a smile to their faces especially for those I guess, in Britian and Allied Europs. Her voice , her songs her grace, runs rings around thousands of head banging loud non important music of the current generation and before. In a strange way it made me think of my dear late mother who lived through those dark years and a lady still here who i have been thankful and blessed to call my mum for many years. See more

20.01.2022 Early this week unfair , unjust , dishonest remarks were put on a well know accommodation booking site from what has proven to be a rude ignorant former guest who has simply put lies on that booking site in a review totally unfounded and had no care or respect for following required safety and the conditions we require from guests because this is OUR place not THEIR place. This guest quite frankly wanted to denigrate me because they wanted to do as they pleased at OUR place t...hinking they were at their home. . The guest wrote an uncalled for review and they were wrong in 90% of the review so I defended myself which the booking site defended me not that guest.. That says so much so I thank the booking site.. But it went further this person I loosely term as guest , went outside of the booking site messaging me privately to my mobile phone and worst of all has tried to defame me on Facebook by childishly going to a low standard to tell lies to so called friends . a low personal attack but then again this is the era where a small number of people think they have right to say anything as in this case of outright lies , as they like about anyone . Should this go Further then I will go to the police AGAIN plus other avenues .. I did nothing wrong and sadly vindictive people in this free for all computer world think anything is possible to say to anyone , WELL ITS NOT ON.. I /we provide excellent accommodation receiving lovely reviews for almost every time but this case by this person was beyond acceptable standards what was said to me personally and in the booking site See more

18.01.2022 Andrew and Lee from Hobart, staying September 13 , absolutely lovely guests . Parked their car at Graveley Beach then cycled to the farm enjoying feeding the alpacas and actually getting close to new born baby alpaca named COVID ..

17.01.2022 A lovely group of 11 cyclists + support driver .. Tour de Rowella . . actually they are all Launceston ,Tassie people doing a 8 day northeast Tasmania ride, sometimes on main roads and highway but also much off road seeing the beautiful forestry tracks.. Starting early this morning at 1 degree.. I call them the Bike Bergs .. as opposed to Australias swimming Icebergs .. A lovely bunch

13.01.2022 Great story from Oodnadatta Pink Hotel.. the new owner bought it 6 weeks ago at the height of lockdowns/ isolating.. The owner is a true blue Aussie character his motto is .. ADVENTURE BEFORE DEMENTIA.. travellers / grey nomads can now go from there up to the N.T. But first he says to stop there when passing ( as you would ) and try his Oodnaburger.

Watch this show tonight .. these animal markets in Bangkok , China and other Asian countries are the causes of the deaths growing growing around the world..

09.01.2022 Because we have no AIRBNB or Booking.com guests due to the virus , I thought , HOW CAN I GET SOME EXTRA INCOME !.. it is apple picking season ( big Apple farm near me ) now and soon grapes to be picked so I have taken in 6 backpackers for 6-8 weeks plus 2 couples in campervans.. ( a mixture of French + German + Canadian guys and girls ) Every $$ helps these days . The video is of a lovely French couple playing the Accordian and very good at it , in my humble opinion .. HA !

I was under the impression that we reserved the right to protect MY country from the spred of this virus. 2.
