08.01.2022 Jackhammering the date suckers off and planting new Date gardens this winter. Soil was prepared beautifully with biochar, bactivate, manures, arbuscular mycorrhiza and seeded with lucerne and clover, then mounded and moated to contain water

07.01.2022 Our new Barhi box artwork by the wonderful Darwin based artist Franck Gohier. Franck was inspired by old matchbox designs, lettering and our NT life in general! We are big fans of Franck’s work and are really excited he is part of our NT artists Date Box series. You can see more of Franck’s work at www.redhandprints.net

04.01.2022 Hope this post finds you safe and hunkering down for the coming months. We have 4.5 kg Mix boxes available featuring freshly picked Medjool, Barhi, Khalas,Khadrawy, Zahidi, Thoory, Halawi and other colourful varieties (as pictured). Priced at $100 a box delivered to your door. Unfortunately due to extremely extreme weather events at the farm over last two years including, record breaking heat waves, drought, massive desert dusts storms and heavy untimely summer rains; we are... unable to offer individual Medjool and Barhi boxes of dates for sale this year. We hope we will recover for next season and these will be available again. Stay safe and see you on the other side Regards from all the team at the Desert Fruit Company! See more
