25.01.2022 It’s amazing the change a few days can make. This is the same horse I went to treat last week but didn’t want a bar of me. Today he was all smiles.

24.01.2022 Somedays with my job it’s just not your day! I attempted to give this lovely little red head his bodywork treatment today but he was in no mood for it and preferred to be back with his friends in his paddock. We aborted the mission and will reconvene in a few days time. There is no point pushing the issue, he will get no relaxation benefits and was more likely to cause myself and his owner injury. ... One of the most important lessons I have learnt with horses is knowing when to stop.

11.01.2022 I had the best ride on my main man today. It wasn’t that we galloped or jumped 1.30m (these things I have not done with him yet ) but we walked/trotted out of the arena into other paddocks and lane ways. I had a nice calm horse who was responsive. It is not always about the destination but the journey, enjoy the ride.... Slowly things are coming together, training a horse takes lots of patience and time.

09.01.2022 Have you ever tried to grow something and it has never happened? Well that is me with Orchids, this is my first ever orchid that I have been able to regrow! I think I usually kill them with kindness and overwater them. I was so excited excited when I saw the flowers emerging on this plant.

06.01.2022 Anyone crazy enough to ride in this weather?? Normally I am the crazy riding in the rain but add some wind and a very spirited 3 year old and I am out...getting far to old. I did manage to sneak in a few treatments to some doggy’s undercover.

05.01.2022 Today I met Rusty and he had his first Bowen Treatment. He is a 14 year old Jack Russell cross who was run over as a youngster and broke his pelvis. It took him 1/2 an hour to settle down, as you can imagine it can be a strange first experience for him as he was very tight and sore. He then finally started to relax and enjoy his treatment. He will ideally have 4 treatments 1 week apart and then we will extend these.... This will definitely add a spring to his step!
