22.01.2022 Body Corporate Fees - What’s are they? Don’t shy away from a body corporate because you’re not sure what the fees entail and offer you. Typically under a strata scheme or ‘body corporate’ you will pay a quarterly fee dependant on the community amenities, age of complex and previous or future works. They can are broken down into two classifications, including but not limited to the following.... Administration fund: The management company fees, building insurance, service fees of assets (ride on mowers, and other equipment) and maintenance of common property including lifts, pools, etc. Sinking fund: Major capital expenditure, upgrades and unforeseen repairs. Consider that every 15 years the building might be repainted - this is a sinking fund expenditure. Don’t be scared of what you don’t know, a great agent will always be willing to walk you through uncertainty. Discussions with a client today got me thinking about just how much of yourself you put into your JOB. ... But real estate is not just a job for me. It’s a passion. It’s in my blood. It was wonderful to Zen out and get lost in the clay...smoothing, creating, and just being at one with something and forgetting all of life’s other little distractions.
