21.01.2022 Our U/19 women celebrated their hugely successful season in style. Lucy was named B&F, Izzie Top Goal Scorer and Hannah received the Wildcats Award. The girls also picked up some NCC awards with Amy receiving the Junior Female Umpire, Chloe the Junior Female Player and Izzie Top Goal Scorer Award for the competition. Well done girls we are so proud!

18.01.2022 The TCHC Annual General Meeting is on Saturday 12 December at 5.30pm at 13 Magpie Crescent, St Leonards. All members are welcome to attend. There will be BBQ after the meeting. BYO meat, salad and drinks. Please think about joining the Committee for next year. This is a great way to get involved and support the Club, as well as contribute to the ongoing development of hockey in the North. You also get to work with some of the awesome hockey family at Tamar Churinga, many of w...hom you probably know. Currently on the committee are: Nigel Richardson (President), Rob Partridge (Vice President), Sally Oetterli (Secretary), Jenny Stewart (Umpiring Co-ordinator), Belinda Jessup, Ian Bates, Lee Swindells, Kurt Lintner, Katelyn Jones, and Beau Cornelius. All positions will be open for nomination, and we are looking to fill the positions of President, Vice President x 2, Treasurer, Secretary, plus committee members, to a total of 12. The Committee usually meets once a month (sometimes less often), currently via zoom. Committee members get involved in a range of Club decisions and activities, such as communication, ticket to play scheme, fundraising, juniors, umpiring, end of year presentations and other social events. Your level of involvement can be as big or as small as you can contribute. If you think you might be interested, please contact Nigel, Rob or Sally, or any of the committee members to find out more, or come along to the AGM.

05.01.2022 It's time to announce our COVID Recovery Hero for this week! Congratulations to Nigel Richardson from the Tamar Churinga Hockey Club! Nigel is the club presid...ent, who also works full time at Harvey Norman. During the Coronavirus lock-down period, he worked tirelessly to find a solution to restore the hockey season. He also provided emotional support and reassured each and every person would play hockey again, when they were in a position to do so. We'd like to recognise Nigel for his endless respect and passion for his club and the game. Nigel has requested a $100 VISA debit card, that will be donated to the Tamar Churinga Lions Hockey Club.
