17.01.2022 Great News, Well be back at the hall with face-to-face meetings starting in term 3. Our Leaders are updating their programs so all activities can be conducted in a safe manner and the Committee is preparing the hall to make sure we comply with all the new Covid-19 health regulations. There will be a few new rules that we will need to abide by so stay tuned for more information over the next couple of weeks. In the meantime keep up the good hygiene and physical distancing practices and stay safe.

17.01.2022 1st Tamar Cubs collected rubbish on Sun morning during their camp and gave all we collect to this group. We have a small mention in the paper but not to our group. Very impressed by the enthusiasm of the cubs and the amount they collected.

17.01.2022 Regatta 2020. Its been a blur over the last 2 days with heaps of activities both on and off the water. The highlight would have to be Captain Adrian bringing home the bacon in both the Parent Leader rowing races which ended in a well deserved dunking. Now well have to come back next year to defend out titles.

14.01.2022 In keeping our kids connected, the Scout section have put in place steps to keep our scouting continuing in these hard times that we face. We have opened a Closed Facebook Group just for the scout section. This is only for our members. As we are currently not able to meet and we have heard that some of the kids are already missing Scouts and their other activities we are hoping that we can post some challenges over the coming weeks that can be interactive and get the kids hap...py and excited about contributing to our page. We have already set the first Challenge, which is a cooking one, along with one of our scouts already posting a video on how to do an eye splice. We look forward to lots of stories, photos and videos over the coming weeks. Cheers Kath, Gus & Adrian

13.01.2022 Do you have one of these sitting in a cupboard that you forgot to return when your child finished scouts. If so please get it touch to arrange it’s return ( Scout hats are only ever on loan)

13.01.2022 Anzac Day means a lot to scouts, so when we were unable to do our normal overnight vigil at the Cenotaph, attend the dawn service or participate in the March we asked our scouts to participate in other creative ways. One of our Cubs Toby, made a Cenotaph in Minecraft. Check it out, he has done an amazing job. His mum said "First we looked up about what Cenotaph means and looked at pictures. It took him 60 minutes to build it and then he and his Dad spent hours editing this video." Awesome work Toby.
