24.01.2022 Gaynor's favourite thing about the resort: The people, I love the Grindelwald Family. Gaynor has been working here for 25 years and that is probably why! She also said she likes the free parking but we ignored that haha.

21.01.2022 The Alpenrose Bistro are looking to hire a qualified & experienced Chef to work in our busy bistro in Grindelwald. Ideally, this person will have experience and be qualified. Shifts could include breakfast, lunch or dinner and you must be available for weekends and public holidays. We estimate this role starting at 10-15 hours per week but may develop into more for the right person.

During Covid it has given us time to really think about our suppliers and how we can do better. One of the changes we have made is to now use Vending Tasmania vending machines instead of Coca-Cola.

Someone with the natural ability to welcome customers into our restaurant and make them feel like we have been waiting just for them. Being able to manage the floor with experienced professional staff and also work with new staff to develop their career in hospitality.... You will have FOH experience in a busy restaurant and have managed staff during peak periods. To provide a familiar welcoming face to our regular customers and provide a positive dining experience to our new customers that will leave them wanting to become one of our much-loved regulars.
