Share and follow us please Our two cents worth: Like riding a bike, life is also where you look is where youll go Mental health NOW is more important than ever before. With so much going on, how is your mind and how is your wellbeing? Depending on our upbringing and nature v nurture influences, well be drawn to chase some things and avoid others. For example: Many peo...ple who join minority groups are seeking a life purpose or healing from not being heard or mattering earlier in their life. Others are drawn to dominant and potentially abusive partners, often because a parent was unloving, unloveable, withdrawn or simply not present. Whichever direction we move on the chessboard of life, remember were all doing our best and most people are just trying to get through their day. This doesnt mean you should excuse poor or bad behaviour in people, but it does lead to empathy and compassion because of this latter understanding. Important to note, is that depending on how far out of balance or out of centre you are with your habits and pursuits, depends also the perturbation or PRESSURE through pain or other means that youll experience. What are you drawn to? Can you see why? Have you felt patterns repeating? Can you see your role in your present lifes creation and where you are vs where you thought you might be now? Take gossiping, as another example. You walk away feeling none the better for speaking about other peoples private business. Yet theres a short temptation to gossip. Next time, see how much better you feel when you say thats none of my business and change the subject. Lastly, theres so much hatred and drama on the tv at the moment. Theres also plenty of the opposite around, too. What will you focus on? What are you focusing on? Which brings you serenity? But, Im passionate about this! Then turn off the social and other media and start a petition towards genuine change. Much of the drama on tv and here in fb is profit based click bait. Its not even supportive of any form of actual change! Just a platform for pages and groups to profit from your comments and clicks. You see, prices of adverts on these pages are directly linked to their activity and status. Youre a marketing target! Besides, what IF you convert someone to your way of thinking? What then? Remember that on a planet founded on polarity, growing one minority group will strengthen the opposing one. Breathe, focus on something other than the problems and have a nice, serene weekend.
